A trailblazer in the Steel Building Manufacturing Industry, Late Engineer Nurnnabi Sarkar was the visionary behind Innovo Steel. He completed his Higher Secondary School Certificate in the merit list from Faujdarhat Cadet College, a premium institution in Bangladesh. He held a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lahore, Pakistan, and earned an MBA from IBA, Dhaka University.

He is credited with the establishment of Dhaka Lamps under the aegis of Singer, the founding of Bandbox, the first Dry Cleaning chain in Bangladesh, and the establishment of Multi Products Ltd, a pioneer in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems that introduced Johnson Controls, Viking, Western Air Ducts, Ansul, Air Group, VHM, etc., in Bangladesh. His latest achievement was the establishment of Innovo Steel, a leader in the steel building manufacturing industry.
